The reporter claimed on the Sky Sports website that although Nuno Espirito Santo is happy with his striker options, Silva is on Wolves’ radar as AC Milan could sanction his exit in the summer transfer window.
“Nuno is reasonably content with his attacking options, now that Raul Jimenez has secured his permanent transfer to Molineux,” said Dorsett, as quoted on Sky Sports’ website. “But it’s thought AC Milan striker Andre Silva is on Wolves’ radar – as he was last summer. Milan look likely to allow him to leave.”
Silva, 23, has spent this season on loan at Sevilla where he has scored 11 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions.
Good move for Wolves?
Since joining AC Milan, Silva’s career has not really hit the heights that were expected of him when he burst onto the scene at Porto.
He scored 10 goals in 40 total appearances during his debut season with the European giants and has had a very identical record while on loan at Sevilla this term.
If he was to join Wolves then he is going to have a back-up role to Jimenez and his form in the last two seasons has suggested that he might not be the most reliable goalscorer if he is down the pecking order.

Likely to happen?
Wolves seem to have been linked with Silva for quite some time now and that may be just down the fact that he’s a Portugal international who has Jorge Mendes as his agent.
If Silva is on the move this summer then Mendes could well strike a deal to take him to Molineux but as reported, Nuno is happy with his striker options now that Jimenez’s permanent deal has been sorted.
It’s still early days though and a lot can happen over the summer.
