Nuno Espirito Santo is predicted to make three changes to Wolves’ starting line-up ahead of their clash against Manchester United at Molineux on Tuesday night.

After serving a two-match suspension, Ryan Bennett could return to the defence and replace Romain Saiss, while Matt Doherty and Raul Jimenez are likely to be back in the starting line-up after dropping to the bench for the 2-0 defeat at Burnley on Saturday.

Returns for Doherty and Jimenez might mean that Adama Traore and Ivan Cavaleiro lose their spots in Nuno’s starting line-up, especially after such a poor performance at Turf Moor at the weekend.

Rui Patricio is predicted to start in goals behind a back-three of Bennett, Conor Coady and Willy Boly.

Jonny Castro and Doherty are both likely to start in the two wing-back positions.

Nuno may avoid making any changes to his central midfield options with Leander Dendoncker, Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves all expected to keep hold of their places in the starting line-up.

In the attack, Diogo Jota is likely to be partnered by Jimenez.

The 27-year-old striker came off the bench for the final half an hour when Wolves lost to Burnley on Saturday, but could not add to his impressive 15-goal haul in all competitions this season.

The Mexico international might get that chance from kick-off on Tuesday though as the West Midlands club host Man United at Molineux.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are in good form and will know that picking up three points in Wolverhampton will see them move up to third in the Premier League standings.

Wolves on the other hand have won just one of their last six league fixture and are beginning to show signs that they are more focused on their upcoming FA Cup semi-final showdown against Watford on Sunday.
