COMMENTARY
Picking Wolves’ player of the season this year is not going to be an easy task but there is definitely a case for Diogo Jota to be included among the candidates as he continues to dazzle the Molineux faithful. This time it was his performance against Watford on Saturday which had the supporters drooling over his performance, assisting Raul Jimenez’s opening goal with a wonderful cross from the flank. It was so much more than just his crossing ability that had Wolves fans over the moon with his first half display, as they raved over his ability to drive forward with the ball and make all the difference in the final third of the pitch. He has been a creative spark time and again for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men this season and it does not look like his ability to make the difference is going to dry up any time soon. There might well be a few clubs sniffing around for his capture this summer if he continues to impress at this rate.
