Signing Edin Dzeko from Roma could be a masterstroke by Manuel Pellegrini, and it seems as though the West Ham manager could reunite with the former Manchester City striker in the summer after Sky Sports reported that he has been offered to the London club by the Serie A giants. Understandably, some West Ham fans have been drooling over the prospect of signing Dzeko, even though he is 33-years-old. He was one of the best strikers in the Premier League when he played under Pellegrini at Man City and since joining Roma, he has remained prolific in front of goal despite his advancing years. If the Hammers can sign Dzeko on a cheap deal in the summer then it could be a great move by the Irons, especially when Andy Carroll and Marko Arnautovic might be on their way out of the London Stadium. Dzeko is not only a good replacement but would be an upgrade on the current back-up options in Pellegrini’s squad. It’s not hard to see why West Ham fans are excited about this one.

Seriously I would take him all day long. We can still invest in a young striker. Looks like Carroll has gone so like for like the difference will be he will play 75% of the games whilst Andy played 5% of the games. Take him and Maxi Gomez. Sorted!
