Genk attacker Leandro Trossard is among a number of “potential additions” for Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to Football.London.

The news outlet claims that Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser is emerging as a top target for the Gunners, while Boca Juniors ace Christian Pavon is also on the London club’s radar.

It is understood that Arsenal are yet to solidify their plans for the summer due to them not knowing if they will be playing Champions League football next season or not.

Football.London adds that Unai Emery would have his transfer budget boosted if his side finish in the top-four of the Premier League this term.

Good move for Arsenal?

Trossard seems like a decent player and one that could be tempted to join Arsenal in the summer.

The Belgian attacker, who is yet to earn his first senior cap for his nation, has been in stunning form for Genk this season, scoring 19 goals and supplying eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

Fraser seems to be Arsenal’s top target, but Bournemouth are bound to want a lot of money for the winger as he has had such a good season t the Vitality Stadium.

If the Gunners need to curb their spending then Trossard might be a good alternative, although it remains to be seen how he would get along in a much stronger league than the Belgian top-flight.

Likely to happen?

At this stage, it seems that Arsenal do not have a solid idea of what they will be able to spend in the summer.

If they miss out of the Champions League then they might have a go at signing Trossard, but if they do finish in the top-four then they might be more likely to bid for Fraser.

For now, it’s hard to really gauge how the summer will go at the Emirates.
