Mauricio Pochettino is predicted to make four changes to his starting line-up ahead of Tottenham’s clash against Brighton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night.

Paulo Gazzaniga is likely to be axed and replaced by Hugo Lloris in goals if the France international is fit enough to start against Chris Hughton’s relegation-threatened side.

Juan Foyth, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies could also lose their spots in the starting line-up with Kieran Trippier, Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama predicted to start with a return to the four-at-the-back system.

Lloris could start in goals instead of Gazzaniga after a shaky performance by the 6ft 5 (transfermarkt) colossus in the defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.

Pochettino could opt to start a back-four against Brighton with Trippier and Rose lining up as the two full-backs and Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld as the two centre-backs.

Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama are predicted to start in the centre of the midfield with Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Lucas Moura in the attacking roles.

Harry Kane could miss the rest of the season through injury and that means Heung-min Son is likely to start up front.

Tottenham could take a major stride towards qualifying for the Champions League if they beat Brighton on Tuesday night.

However a defeat for Hughton’s men will mean they remain just three points clear of the relegation zone with three games to play.
