OPINION
Ruben Neves has been a class act for Wolves ever since signing for them last season and after he scored a free-kick against Arsenal on Wednesday night, it is no surprise to see some Tottenham fans on Twitter urging Mauricio Pochettino to sign the Portugal international. Neves, 22, has made 37 appearances across all competitions for Wanderers this season, scoring five goals and supplying three assists in the process. He is best used in the deep-lying playmaker role in the centre of the midfield and Tottenham need to strengthen that area of their squad in the summer, so it would make sense to try and sign the former Porto ace. According to a report by the Mirror last year, Neves has been someone that Tottenham have already looked at potentially signing. However his value is bound to have soared since then after establishing himself in the Premier League, and that means that Daniel Levy is unlikely to splash out the cash to sign him when there are bound to be cheaper options out there.
