Many Wolves fans heaped praise on Ruben Neves for his performance in the 3-1 win against Arsenal on Wednesday. The 22-year-old defensive midfielder opened the scoring for his side against the Gunners, and it seem to lift the whole crowd. The Gunners were looking comfortable ahead of Neves scoring in the 28th minute, and his piece of magic changed the whole game on it’s head. It’s no surprise for that reason that Neves had fans rave about him, with one even dubbing him a genius. The 22-year-old midfielder is a fantastic talent who Wolves are lucky to have, as not only does he add some defensive steel into the midfield, he can be a threat from set-pieces. Neves has scored five goals this season in 37 outings, while also registering three assists, and is bound to add to that tally in the games that remain.
