Joe Hart sent West Ham midfielder Declan Rice a message on Instagram after the Hammers defeated Tottenham 1-0 on Saturday.
The Hammers midfield enforcer had taken to his Instagram to celebrate beating Spurs and in doing so revealed he was confident that supporters would have liked that result in particular.
“Unbelievable result today, good to get that winning feeling back! I’m sure the fans liked that one,” wrote Rice via his personal Instagram account.

Hart, who previously played for the Hammers, responded to Rice’s post by sending a four-word message to congratulate him on the result.
“Top pal well done,” wrote the Burnley goalkeeper on his verified Instagram account.
OPINION
Hart is generally not loved by West Ham supporters after being dreadful for the club when on loan from Manchester City, but clearly he is still keeping an eye on how his former teammates are doing. It was nice to see the goalkeeper show his pleasure over the Hammers beating Spurs by congratulating Rice. The Hammers’ victory over Spurs is one that will no doubt be celebrated by West Ham supporters for a few days at least, and who can blame them? Manuel Pellegrini’s side are the first team to not only beat Spurs at their new stadium, but the first to even score a goal. Given that the Hammers and Spurs have a very intense rivalry, then West Ham fans must be happy that they have something they can brag about until the end of time. While West Ham may end up having more things to brag about next season if Pellegrini continues to take the club forward, beating Spurs is enough to rave about for now.
