COMMENTARY
Many Everton fans took to social media to slam attacker Richarlison for his display against Crystal Place on Saturday. One even claimed that Gylfi Sigurdsson was equally as annoyed with the Brazilian as some supporters as they claimed the attacking midfielder definitely wanted to put Richarlison in a headlock. While no one can definitely know what was going through Sigurdsson’s head on Saturday, it’s fair to assume he was fuming with his teammate. The attacking midfielder constantly got into space for Palace only for Richarlison to get on the ball and not pass it to him. Given that the Toffees only drew 0-0 with Palace, you wonder if the result would have been positive one if Richarlison had took note of Sigurdsson more often. Also while the Brazilian is clearly a talented player, he has proven to be inconsistent this season. One week the attacker will produce a 10/10 display only to follow that up by stinking out the joint.
