Anthony Martial has been hopeless for Manchester United this season and it seems as though a lot of the club’s fans have had it with the 23-year-old after a dismal display in the 4-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday. Martial has offered next to nothing in the Red Devils’ attack, especially while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been in charge. The France international has done little of note since a run of six goals in five Premier League matches in October and November, and for one reason or another, we have seen his true quality on so few occasions. It’s hard to disagree with these Man United fans who want to see Martial sold in the summer transfer window. He could fetch them a decent fee and there are definitely better players out there than him who can be signed as a replacement. Martial should be happy to leave Old Trafford if the chance arises. Moving elsewhere could revive his career like it did with Memphis Depay.
