Izzy Brown has had a torrid time this season, arriving on loan from Chelsea injured, not making his first-team debut until February.
That only lasted nine minutes and his cameo appearance against QPR was so bad he hasn’t been seen on the pitch since – apart from with the Under-23s, where he’s continued to impress the fans.
Plenty of them want to see him given a chance in the last two Championship games of the season, and some think he could be the ‘secret weapon’ who could fire them to glory through the play-offs.
However, Marcelo Bielsa has shown no signs of trusting Brown to come in and do a job, despite his side desperately lacking an attacking thrust.
Bielsa doesn’t like changing his team at the best of times and Brown would be a radical gamble.
Is it one worth taking? If Sheffield United beat Ipswich on Saturday then Leeds are effectively preparing for the play-offs. Why not rest some key players and give others a chance to show what they can do? Izzy Brown was brought to Elland Road for a reason.

I can see the sense in keeping a settled side but what about competition for places? One of the downsides of using a small squad is some players know they'll play every game unless injured. Can't believe Brown hasn't played more 1st team games?

Clarke has hit massive loss of form to be honest I think he’s rise to fame coupled with illness have effected him. I’d leave him until next season. I genuinely feel like Izzy brown could be a secret weapon in these playoffs.
