OPINION
Ezgjan Alioski has played so well since he was moved to play as left-back, but he was nowhere near his best on Friday as Leeds United lost 2-1 to Wigan at Elland Road, and understandably, some fans have taken to Twitter to rip into the Macedonian flyer. Alioski barely put any good crosses into the box against Wigan and when the Latics scored their equaliser just before the break, the ex-Lugano ace should really have worked a lot harder to get back and defend his goal. Alioski is a such a hard-working player, but for whatever reason, he wasn’t at the race at all against Wigan. It might be a bit of complacency that has crept into the Leeds squad. Wigan went into the game with the worst away record in the Championship while Leeds only had to draw to stay in the automatic promotion spots. Most of these tweets that have torn Alioski to shreds could be said about some of his team-mates as well. He was not the sole culprit on Good Friday.
