Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that he will be naming an unchanged line-up for the Championship clash against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Bielsa was talking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Saturday tea-time kick-off.

He said that he thinks Leeds have to win all five of their remaining games to get promoted, with Sheffield United just one point behind in third.

He then confirmed the team news that will see top-scorer Kemar Roofe on the bench again for the third game since his return from injury.

Bielsa was quoted by Phil Hay, senior reporter from the Yorkshire Evening Post.

It means that this will be the starting XI for Saturday’s game:

OPINION

Bielsa hasn’t named his team early for the past few games and we thought that might have something to do with the importance of games in the season run-in. It seems that’s not the case, though, and Sheffield Wednesday will know exactly who they’re going up against on Saturday. To be fair, the only question they would have had was whether Roofe would come back into the side, and after Patrick Bamford scored two against Preston that was unlikely. Leeds’ fate is back in their hands after the win on Tuesday and Sheffield United drawing with Birmingham on Wednesday, but Bielsa thinks they need to win all five of their remaining games. Saturday’s game won’t be easy and they’ve got another huge home game against the league’s form team at the moment – Aston Villa later in the month. There might be no easy games in the Championship, but if they win these two we think they’ll bag the rest and win promotion.
