COMMENTARY
There was not an awful lot to celebrate for Leeds United fans on Monday afternoon as they saw their side put in an awfully frustrating performance away at Brentford. There were a number of players failing to hit the required standards but more worryingly there seemed to be a lack of desire or fight from the Elland Road stars. One man who was heralded by the Leeds faithful for his never-say-die attitude was Stuart Dallas, who actually came on for the injured Ezgjan Alioski in the first half. Yes, he might not be the technically gifted footballer and he certainly is not everyone’s cup of tea but there is little doubting he was trying to make a difference for Marcelo Bielsa’s men. Unfortunately for the Argentine manager not enough of his squad followed the Northern Ireland international’s lead and Brentford were by far the better side, both in terms of their footballing ability as well as their desire to seal victory.
