COMMENTARY
There was not an awful lot for Nottingham Forest fans to celebrate against Sheffield United on Friday afternoon, the Blades securing a comfortable victory against a team forced to play with 10 men for most of the game. However, Argentinian international Claudio Yacob had them up on their feet and applauding on Twitter – mainly because of how many times he stopped the home side from closing in on goal. The midfielder was brilliant in the centre of the park and controlled the game for Forest when in possession. Unfortunately his teammates could not live up to his high standards and as such were made to suffer defeat. Perhaps Martin O’Neill will realise just what a supremely talented player he has at his disposal and start to use him more often in the starting XI. At least it might get some of the fuming supporters off his back after yet another disappointing display and result.
