Professional boxer Josh Warrington blasted Aston Villa duo Jack Grealish and Conor Hourihane for their actions in the 1-1 draw with Leeds United.

The known Leeds supporter took to his personal Twitter account to mock the pair over a clip from the mass brawl which occurred during the match that was posted online.

“Hourihane trying to channel his inner Bruce Lee one inch punch,” wrote Warrington.

“Funny how Grealish walks over like he’s ten men  like ‘I’ve got your back if he says owt bro …’

“Muppet.”

The clip showed Hourihane appearing to punch Mateusz Klich, which prompted the boxer to say the Villans midfielder was channelling his inner Bruce Lee, and it also showed Grealish getting involved to back his teammate up.

Warrington labelled Grealish a muppet for his actions as he claimed it looked like the Aston Villa playmaker thought he was ten-men given the way he strolled over.

OPINION

Everyone wants to have their say on the mass-brawl that occurred between Villa and Leeds, and it’s no surprise that Warrington has voiced his opinion. While the boxer is hilarious by comparing Hourihane to a famous martial artist, his remarks on Grealish are a little harsh. While the pair were both out of line to approach Klich in the way that they did, Hourihane was clearly more worthy of being slammed for his actions than Grealish. While the Villans captain looked to be aggressive with what he was saying at Klich, given you can’t be sure what he said, it’s unfair to dub him a muppet. Also if Grealish has said anything too out of line, then surely the FA would have got wind of it and would have handed him a punishment. However then again Hourihane seems to have escaped punishment and his actions looked worthy of a violent conduct charge.
