COMMENTARY
Aston Villa went in to the half-time break against Millwall with a 1-0 lead on Monday and supporters knew who to thank. Many Aston Villa supporters heaped praise on attacker Jonathan Kodjia after he grabbed the goal. The Villans striker had one claiming his latest goal proved that he was back to his best, while another suggested he was underrated as he believes other supporters have forgotten how good he is. Given that Kodjia’s goal came moments after he missed a glorious chance, it’s fair to say that some may still have their doubts. With Tammy Abraham out injured at the moment, Kodjia needs to show that he is clinical in front of goal. While he got away with missing a glorious opportunity in the first-half, who knows Millwall may end up making him regret his miss in the second-half as there is still plenty of minutes left to play.

Even if we don't go up and lose Tammy, i'm more than comfortable with Kodjia up top, think some fans actually forget how good he can be. 20+ Goals a season striker easy. #avfc
