It all could have been so different for Daniel Arzani at Celtic.
The Australian international looked as if he might finally be on the cusp of making a name for himself in British football after completing a loan move north of the border from Manchester City, but the footballing gods had other ideas.
He’d barely got a feel for the ball when he went and tore an ACL on his Celtic debut against Dundee.
Just like that, a breakout campaign turned into a season the sidelines, and you had to feel heartily sorry for a player trying to make a name for himself.
Celtic fans will be dizzy with excitement after the latest behind the scenes reveal from the youngster though.
Posting on his personal Instagram account, Arzani shared a video of him back in training with his parent club, and the signs are that he is making really decent progress towards a return.

Ordinarily, that wouldn’t matter too much for a loan player as the season draws to a close, but Arzani’s deal at Parkhead is due to run until 2020, and that extra year on his contract will mean that he feels like a new signing for the Hoops when he does eventually manage to come back into the side.
His style of play, so creative and exciting, is always guaranteed to be a hit with fans, and if he can get a decent run in the side, he could become a real fan favourite.
