OPINION
The last thing Arsenal needed in their attempts to secure a top four finish was a loss on Sunday. Leicester City are a side on the up under Brendan Rodgers, and they stunned the Gunners from first minute to last at the King Power with a high octane, fluid attacking display that put Unai Emery’s side to shame. If you had no clue as to who you were watching, you would have been more than justified in believing that the Foxes were the ones pushing for a Champions League spot. Instead, on the day, 3-0 arguably flattered them. Wholly emblematic of a dire display was Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Armenian playmaker was pretty much anonymous throughout, and it was a wonder that he wasn’t given the hook by Emery sooner than he was. A game like this needed a moment of inspiration from somebody in a red shirt, and with no Mesut Ozil, it should, by rights have fallen to Mkhitaryan to provide it. Instead, he wandered around the final third listlessly, and at times it was easy to forget that he was even on the pitch. He needs to buck his ideas up if he has any chance of a long and fruitful Arsenal career.

Mhki has to leave so we can get a better replacement. Perisic for me
