OPINION
On a night of more Champions League drama, Leeds United fans were far more interested in events at Carrow Road than those at the Allianz Arena or the Camp Nou. Hopes that Hull City could prevent Norwich City from taking all three points were all but extinguished by two early goals from the free-flowing hosts, who delivered the perfect response to Leeds’ win 24 hours earlier. Hull scored two second-half goals to highlight the weaknesses in the playing style implemented by Daniel Farke, but his side still secured a fifth consecutive Championship triumph in a major automatic promotion statement. So, where does the result leave Leeds’ top-two hopes? Many Whites are convinced that Norwich will now secure one of the two automatic promotion slots, with them and Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, who face one another at Elland Road on Saturday, slugging it out for the other.

Quality from Norwich that. We’re gonna have to do it all ourselves this season, and I like that. Don’t want no favours. Saturdays huge. #LUFC

I can’t see Norwich loosing another game this season. They look like they could win all their remaining fixtures. 2-0 up after 15 mins. Between #lufc and #sufc for 2nd spot
