OPINION
Izzy Brown scored for the Leeds United Under-23s on Monday as he continued his quest for match fitness. The on-loan Chelsea attacking midfielder opened the scoring at Vicarage Road and Pascal Struijk and Kun Mihaylov were also on the scoresheet for Carlos Corberan’s side as they secured the points and extended their excellent run of results this season. Brown could and probably should have scored a few more as Leeds’ well-drilled outfit, which also featured Jamie Shackleton, dominated and had a 20-minute spell in the second half when they threatened to completely destroy the home side. Some United fans were blown away by the display of Brown, who has been in the Leeds’ senior squad for recent matches but has made only one substitute appearance so far, while others were less impressed, saying he looked like he felt he was above playing age-group football.

My thoughts exactly, mate. Get the sense Izzy feels it's a bit beneath him at this point (which is somewhat understandable, but not nice to see). He's going for the spectacular rather than combining with his teammates more often than not.

Still feel he's a bit behind the pace some passes going astray and late challenges on players but the run was quality could be an interesting option for 10/wing
