COMMENTARY
Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish didn’t overly wow against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday but he did enough to have many Villans fans singing his praises. Two supporters claimed that the 23-year-old playmaker had his opponent on strings, while one was impressed with his off-the-ball skills when it came to winding up Forest players. Grealish was regularly fouled during the 3-1 win over Forest so it’s safe to say there was a downside to him getting under the skin of his opponent. Aside from that side of the game, the midfielder did show glimpses of his sublime passing ability as there was a few occasions where he carved open Forest’s defence. Given that the midfielder has only just recently returned from injury, he may have been feeling the effects of being thrown straight back into action. However since returning to the team, Grealish has shown that he is practically undroppable as Dean Smith’s side look way better with him in the heart of their team.
