OPINION
Will West Brom seriously sack Darren Moore? Their home form has been appalling since the start of the year and the 1-1 draw against Ipswich at The Hawthorns on Saturday now leaves the Baggies nine points away from the automatic promotion spots. It’s time for the Albion fans to stop thinking about the top-two anyway, if they haven’t already, and start looking below at seventh place. At this rate, it’s hard to see West Brom clinging onto a play-off spot, but Moore should be able to finish in the top-six, despite the club’s home form. What happens after that is anyone’s guess. West Brom’s results have been woeful lately, especially at home and you can understand the concerns that some fans have about Moore. But sacking him at this stage would be the wrong decision. It would plunge the club into uncertainty when they don’t need it. One good result should get them back to winning ways. Every club has a rut.
