Jacob Murphy joined West Brom over the January transfer window to get some much needed game time away from Newcastle United but if his first 45 minutes against Swansea are anything to go by, the new manager will not be giving him much of a chance. The flyer was missing for most of the half and West Brom fans might have preferred him to stay missing, for when he got on the ball he did nothing to help his side. It was a performance lacking in much, if any, quality or confidence and it could well be that Darren Moore’s exit has knocked him for six. Regardless of that, he should be able to put in much better displays than the one the Hawthorns faithful had to watch for 45 minutes. Having had Harvey Barnes in the first half of the season, the Newcastle man is looking like a huge downgrade from the Leicester loanee and something has got to change sooner rather than later..
