Rangers have by far the best attacking talent in the Scottish Premiership in the shape of striker Alfredo Morelos. However, despite his 29 goals, he needs more support.

With Ryan Kent’s future at Ibrox up in the air – it remains to be seen whether he will return back to Liverpool when his loan ends – the need to sign a player with vision is greater than it has ever been.

Boss Steven Gerrard has admitted that he regrets not signing a player who has the creativity to thrive at the club, but says that signing is a target for the next window.

“A No?10 was an area we tried but maybe targets you’re after aren’t available or with the funds available you can’t make that happen. But it’s definitely an area we’re looking at and I predict that could change in the short-term. Short-term, for me, is the next window,” he said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.

Well, if this is indeed the case, then he should look no further than Malmo ace Romain Gall. He can play in multiple positions in the final third, and can offer plenty of attacking threat. If that is not attractive to Gerrard, then who knows what is.

He primarily operates as a winger, but should not be a problem for the manager. However, his darting runs from the right-side, and he has the tendency to get into the right place at the right time. Sounds perfect, right?

His aerial threat is excellent, and his ability to pick a pass to the right teammate is to be admired. Basically, signing Gall should be a no-brainer for Rangers. He is not the full package yet, but moving to the Gers would allow him to finally unleash his potential.

Gerrard would certainly be onto a winner if he swooped for the dazzler in the summer. The 24-year-old ticks all of the boxes, and he is just the player to get the fans rejoicing once again.
