COMMENTARY
No wonder the Celtic faithful are all feeling a little giddy on social media on Friday – Callum McGregor is back in training. The Hoops provided a behind-the-scenes sighting on their official Twitter account of the 25-year-old beaming after his injury layoff and you can imagine that many of the Parkhead regulars would have had a similar smile on their face when they saw their star man joining his teammates. The winger-turned-central midfielder has been brilliant for the Glasgow giants this season, bringing a creative spark to the middle of the pitch that few others in the role – including current first team pairing Scott Brown and Nir Bitton – have been able to produce. The Hoops might feel confident of sealing the Premiership title with Rangers lagging behind but the return of their Scottish international will only boost their belief of yet another domestic treble coming through the door at Celtic Park.
