Kilmarnock player Gary Dicker fumed while delivering his verdict on the flashpoints in Rangers’ 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock and all it is going to do is stir the pot.

The 32-year-old midfielder claimed that the Gers were lucky to have kept 11 players on the pitch as Connor Goldson and Alfredo Morelos could have easily seen red in the match.

Goldson brought down Kilmarnock’s Liam Miller just outside the box during the match while Morelos swung his arm at Kirk Broadfoot after the Killie defender clearly caught him on the back of the calf.

“They shouldn’t have had ten men on the pitch,” fumed Dicker, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.

“There was the Morelos incident as we came off at half-time. I saw him swinging an arm at Broaders, but it’s the same old story, isn’t it? No one sees anything here.

“I spoke to all of the officials and they haven’t seen it. The linesman said he’d gone straight back down the tunnel, but I thought they didn’t leave the pitch until the players are off.

Dicker then insisted that if Killie players had done what Goldson or Morelos was doing then they would have been sent-off.

“It takes a bit of bottle sometimes to make those decisions. If it happens the other way round it’s a red card for Killie — end of!” added the Killie midfielder.

“The frustrating thing is, we shouldn’t be talking about that stuff. I said the same the last time we were here and you get bored of talking about it. Sadly, it never seems to go our way.”

Gerrard must be sweating after Dicker’s rant as it was a very damning indictment of the referee and you feel it will simply draw even more attention to the incidents and perhaps force the SFA to send a statement by handing out convincing retrospective punishments.

The Scottish Sun already reported that Morelos could be handed a ban due to the incident and miss the clash with Celtic, due to the incident being one they’d likely review.

However given how Dicker has gone in strong with his opinion, which highlights how confident he is Morelos was in the wrong, the Gers manager must be sweating that his side are about to be given a blow courtesy of the SFA.
