COMMENTARY
Many West Ham fans were in awe of goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski after watching his performance in the 2-0 loss to Cardiff City on Saturday. Hammers supporters were far from being in high spirits as they no doubted expected their side to beat the Bluebirds, but had very kind words to say about their 33-year-old shot-stopper. One supporter claimed that the goalkeeper deserved better than the Hammers, while another was already to hand him the Hammers of the Year award despite it only being only March. It’s no surprise that Fabianski was being drenched in praise as once again he did his best to give fans something to cheer about. The 33-year-old made a very impressive double save to ensure the game didn’t end 3-0 and was a credit to his side in defeat. It’s has been a similar story for Fabianski across the season as even when his teammates have let their side down, the goalkeeper has continued to shine bright.
