Tottenham have one of the best midfields in the Premier League, but there is no harm in signing someone who can enhance that quality even further.

With the likes of Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Christian Eirksen amongst their ranks, it is safe to say that Spurs are not light on numbers in this area. However, a move from their North London rivals Arsenal could give them the edge that they are looking for.

According to the Sun, the Gunners are willing to let on-loan midfielder Denis Suarez leave after he failed to make an impression since his arrival in January. There is no denying the 25-year-old’s talent, but he has not even been able to get a start. This is where Tottenham should come in.

The Telegraph reported in January that Spurs were keen on the Barcelona player, but seeing as they missed out on him last time, they should definitely reignite their interest in him this summer. He is exactly what Spurs need, and if he is given regular game time, he has the potential to be a great player in the Premier League.

Imagine him in the midfield alongside the likes of Moussa Sissoko, or even Dier? It would be quite the combination, so Daniel Levy must dip his hand in his pocket and make it happen once the transfer window opens for business in a few months’ time.

Many Spurs fans would be thrilled if the club decided to go in for Suarez again. He has proved that he is able to play on the wing as well, having thrived in that position for previous club Villarreal.

Mauricio Pochettino would be getting himself a real versatile player in the shape of Suarez, so he must snap the midfielder up as soon as he is available.
