Rio Ferdinand shared a behind-the-scene clip on his personal Twitter account of how Martin Keown and Jermaine Jenas reacted to Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang not converting his spot-kick against Tottenham on Saturday. While Spurs fans were probably not in the best of moods after their team were disappointing in the 1-1 draw with the Gunners, many of them couldn’t help but adore Jenas after watching the clip. The former Spurs player shouted “Get in there Hugo”, in reference to Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris, upon Aubameyang failing to score and supporters couldn’t help but love his passion. Given that the penalty was a controversial moment and the fact former Arsenal player Keown’s face was as priceless as a picture during the clip, it’s easy to see why Spurs fans suddenly related with Jenas. Also it is worth noting that Jenas was glued to the screen for the moment when Jan Vertonghen made a last-ditch tackle to stop Aubameyang scoring the rebound, and just like many Spurs fans he didn’t seem to care or reference that centre-back was wrongly in the box when the spot-kick was being taken.
