Graham Roberts has urged Harry Kane to destroy Liverpool later this month with an Anfield hat-trick.
The Spurs-supporting pundit took to his Twitter account to hail the “incredible” 25-year-old and insisted he is a “serious threat now” to the all-time Spurs scoring record of Jimmy Greaves.
Former Tottenham defender Roberts claimed he was “too upset” to post following the club’s defeat to Southampton on Saturday but is now looking forward to the team and Kane bouncing back in their next match on 31 March.
Was to upset to post on Saturday with the result but have to congratulate @HKane already on 200 goals and now back him to get the golden boot again! A serious threat now to the great jimmy greaves goal record at us just a incredible striker. A nice hatrick v Liverpool now! ?

OPINION
There’s no doubt Kane will be the dangerman-in-chief when Liverpool host Tottenham at the end of the month. He scored in both matches against the title challengers last season and his record in marquee fixtures brooks no argument. That said, Spurs are licking their wounds at a training camp in Barcelona after losing three of their last four games, a run that has coincided with Kane’s return to the team after six weeks out with an ankle injury. The England star has netted four times in the five matches since his return and appears to have benefitted from the rest. However, Kane’s return has diminished Son Heung-Min, who took the goalscoring mantle in the talisman’s absence. Tottenham will remember how Liverpool destroyed them at Wembley in the autumn, and the Merseysiders have continued to be remarkably consistent since then in terms of performances and results. Kane is the main man at Tottenham, but he can’t do it on his own and needs more help from his teammates.
