COMMENTARY
Liverpool fans have not had a lot to complain about this season but it seems as though the form of Mohamed Salah is starting to get under their skin. The Egyptian maestro certainly has not been at his best this season and he was once again letting the Anfield faithful down with his first half display against Bayern Munich, some fans panning what they saw on Twitter. He struggled to see much of the ball in the opening 20 minutes, being switched between both the left and right flank by Jurgen Klopp and when he did get some sort of possession there was not an awful lot he managed to do with it. With Sadio Mane tearing it up for the Reds there might be a sense Salah can take a back seat but the truth is that he has got to improve on what he has shown in recent weeks. If not, the club’s title hunt and Champions League aspirations could end up going up in smoke.
