Club Brugge have made an offer to Everton for their winger Henry Onyekuru, according to Takvim.

The Turkish outlet reports on their website that the Belgian outfit have made an offer to the Toffees about the 21-year-old, who is currently on loan at Super Lig club Galatasaray.

The report adds that the youngster – who has never appeared for Everton – is not in boss Fatih Terim’s plans for next season, which means that the club will not be seeking to get another loan deal for Onyekuru, and they say that Club Brugge is the club that is keen.

Good move for Everton?

This a hard one, as Onyekuru has been performing rather well for the Turkish outfit this term, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in total. However, there has been an ongoing issue with his work permit, so it remains to be seen whether this would be a good move for the Toffees. If they can secure a permit for him, then they will not be so keen to let him go to Club Brugge.

Likely to happen?

If they can secure the work permit, then yes – if not, then it may be the only option for Onyekuru. He is not in Galatasaray’s plans for next season, and he will need to find another club if things do not work out at Everton. There is no guarantee that he will get a permit, so the most likely scenario would be him securing another loan deal for the time being – he may have no other choice.
