Arsenal sent a scout to watch AC Milan winger Suso and are interested in signing the 25-year-old, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira.
He claims that they watched Spain international Suso in the game against Chievo on Saturday, which Milan won 2-1.
Schira made the claim on Monday morning on his personal Twitter account, but added that he is not Emery’s first choice target.

OPINION
Suso has had a good season for AC Milan – five goals and seven assists in 27 serie A games. That’s put him on the radar of a number of clubs though, including Tottenham. Emery has got a big job ahead of him if he wants to build a team capable of challenging for the major honours next season, but attack is the least of his problems. The defence is going to be priority number one – even in the 2-0 win against Man United they were wide open on a few occasions and were perhaps lucky not to concede against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men. Intriguingly, Schira claims that Emery has another first-choice target on the right-wing and that should thrill the Arsenal fans. If he can bring someone better than Suso to the Emirates, to compliment Aubameyang and Lacazette, then they could have one of the best front three in the Premier League next season.
