Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa gives out his team in his pre-match press conference, likely to be on Thursday afternoon this week. It’s a typically maverick move from a manager who does things his own way. Many Leeds fans would rather he didn’t help out his opponents but it certainly didn’t help West Brom.

He’s got a big call to make this week, with his favoured players playing three times in two weeks but, with his propensity to keep his starting XI the same unless forced otherwise through injuries, and after a stunning 4-0 win against West Brom on Friday night, we can’t see him making any alterations to the line-up for the clash at Ashton Gate.

There will be calls for Luke Ayling to be dropped. He hasn’t been on form, even at the Hawthorns, but ‘Bill’ as Bielsa likes to call him is one of his favourite players and he should retain his place on the right of defence.

The form of Ezgjan Alioski and Jack Harrison on the other flank means that Barry Douglas will have to sit and wait on the bench, alongside Izzy Brown and Gaetano Berardi. Saturday will also surely come too soon for young whizkid Jack Clarke, back in training after collapsing with a virus during the game against Middlesbrough.

This is the starting XI we expect Bielsa to put out against Bristol City on Saturday:
