OPINION
Leeds United fans have every right to be pleased about Bailey Peacock-Farrell’s performance for Northern Ireland in their 2-0 win against Estonia on Thursday night. The 22-year-old goalkeeper did not have a lot to do in the win, but when his side were just one goal ahead, he made a very good save from a one-on-one that proved crucial to the win. Many fans would have expected the shot-stopper to be a bit rusty due to his lack of game-time at Elland Road as he has not played a game for the Yorkshire giants since January 19. Kiko Casilla was signed from Real Madrid in the last transfer window and he has been Marcelo Bielsa’s number one since then. However Casilla is suspended for the clash against Millwall next weekend, and Peacock-Farrell will have to play. Luckily he proved in Northern Ireland’s Euro 2020 qualifier that he can play well despite not having much game-time under his belt.
