OPINION
Harry Wilson has been superb while on loan at Derby County this season, and Leeds United fans have every right to be thrilled if they can sign the Liverpool attacker in the summer, regardless of whether they are in the Premier League or Championship. Wilson is only 21-years-old but has already shown that he is more than capable of making the step up to the top-flight while on loan at Pride Park. He has scored 12 goals and supplied four assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for Frank Lampard’s side, which is probably why so many Leeds fans are excited about the fact they are reportedly interested in signing him. Sun journalist Alan Nixon claimed via his personal Twitter account on Sunday that Leeds are looking to sign Wilson on loan next season if they are promoted. Because of how well he has played in the second-tier this term, Liverpool might only be interested in loaning him out to Premier League sides in the future. This would be a great piece of business for Leeds if they do go up.
LEEDS. Already looking at Harry Wilson at LIVERPOOL for a loan next season if they go up. Playing for DERBY. Must have been checking him out from the bushes.
