Pedro has been the very definition of inconsistent this season and he was at it again in the 2-0 defeat against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday. It was a hugely disappointing result that puts another dent in Chelsea’s top-four aspirations – this was their game in hand and they’re now in sixth and three points behind Arsenal in fourth and one behind Man United. It was a game of two halves for Chelsea. They dominated in the first-half but Everton took the game to them in the second-half and did what the Chelsea forwards couldn’t on Sunday afternoon – score a goal. Eden Hazard and Gonzalo Higuain were both unlucky, but Pedro was guilty of missing some great chances and he was too often missing quality in the final ball. He played the full 90 minutes at Goodison but this is now the eighth game this season Chelsea have failed to score – and fans knew who to blame on Sunday.
