Sky pundit David Prutton has predicted that Leeds will get back to winning ways on Saturday when they welcome Millwall to Elland Road.

Writing in his regular predictions column for Sky Sports, Prutton predicted a 3-0 win for Marcelo Bielsa’s men.

“Leeds have had a couple of weeks to dwell on that defeat to Sheffield United, and head into the final few weeks of the season knowing automatic promotion is out of their hands,” Prutton wrote.

“Millwall, meanwhile, have had to deal with the disappointment of their heartbreaking FA Cup exit, but at least now they can focus fully on survival. That being said, I do not see them picking up anything from Elland Road.”

OPINION

It’s hard to see past a home victory on Saturday at what will be a packed Elland Road. Leeds will be fired up after their defeat to Sheffield United and they know they have to win games if they want to end in the top two. Pontus Jansson and Adam Forshw have both been declared fit, which is a big boost – it leaves Bielsa just Kemar Roofe short of a full first-team squad for the first time this season. Roofe won’t make the Millwall clash but he is expected to be back for the Birmingham game the Saturday after. Leeds’ promotion rivals Sheffield United and Norwich have the harder of the games this weekend and could both potentially drop points. Sheffield United host Bristol City while Norwich travel to Middlesbrough in the later kick-off. Prutton predicts both will win though, which would keep Leeds anchored in third place with seven games to go.
