OPINION

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa took the unusual step of not naming his line-up for the huge Championship clash against Sheffield United.

However, we can’t see anything else happening but him naming an unchanged line-up for the sixth game in a row, despite attacking sensation Jack Clarke being fit and available.

That’s the big call that Bielsa is set to make and perhaps why he didn’t name his side yet. However, if Clarke comes through the Under-23s game tonight, we think he’ll have to settle for the bench for Saturday’s game.

With no new injury concerns, it’s no surprise that Bielsa would stick with the team that hasn’t conceded a goal in the last three, scoring eight in the process.

Leeds are now on a run of five wins in six and another on Saturday would make a huge difference in the race for the top two. Sheffield United and Norwich aren’t giving an inch and it’s why the three sides are still bunched together at the top.

Three points at Elland Road on Saturday would lift Leeds five points clear of Chris Wilder’s side, though, and with eight games left promotion would be theirs to lose at that point. We’re not sure which way the game is going to go, but if we had to put our money on the result we’ll give it to Leeds by a single goal.

One thing we are sure about is that the atmosphere will be electric. Elland Road is obviously a sell-out and Pontus Jansson has asked the Leeds fans to arrive early to build up the noise for the players’ warm-up. It’s set to be an absolute cracker.

This is the side we expect Leeds to put out against Sheffield United:
