OPINION
It’s fair to say that Tyler Roberts has come in for a lot of stick this season. He had left Leeds fans thinking that he wasn’t the answer in the number 10 role, and seemed to rubber-stamp that with a terrible display against QPR on Tuesday. However, the transformation on Friday against West Brom couldn’t have been more dramatic. Perhaps he had something to prove to the team that sold him, or the Bielsa effect is finally kicking in, but Roberts played like a man possessed at Elland Road in the incredibly impressive 4-0 win. He wasn’t the only one but Roberts finally delivered the proof that Leeds fans were looking for – that he can be a vital part of the season run-in and push Leeds towards promotion. He made two assists for Patrick Bamford and looked every inch as good as departed hero Samu Saiz. Leeds fans were blown away, both at Elland Road where the youngster got a standing ovation when he was subbed in the 92nd minute, and on Twitter afterwards, where one fan compared him to Zinedine Zidane.

Think at people forget how young Tyler Roberts is, he's only 20 and has 3 goals and 3 assists in 18 matches. Was a real coming of age performance last night against the team that didn't want to give him the chance. #LUFC

Something switched on in Roberts last night, something we see a lot from now on #lufc

And Tyler Roberts. He's struggled at times in the 10, but last night he was soo exciting to watch. Every time he got the ball he turned and went at defenders with pace and conviction. A real catalyst for our attacking intent. We've got a real player there. 11 more finals #LUFC

Allioski,Bamford,Harrison and Roberts look like different players recently, on another level, this team wants it more than any other and it’ll take us a long way, I think the more difficult run in benefits us because we always turn up in big games #LUFC #MOT

Unreal performance from every single player tonight. Not one player stopped running, none more so than Alioski. He was like Forrest Gump tonight and Roberts was like a different player tonight! ???? #LUFC
