On-loan Celtic star Oliver Burke has been a revelation since he arrived in January, and it that is no doubt down to the fact that he was thrown in at the deep end by former boss Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers put Burke up front for their Europa League clashes, a position which he had never played in much before. However, he has took it in his stride and has come out the other side in a very positive light.

The one thing that will frustrate Celtic fans is that he is due to return to West Brom at the end of the season. That he is his parent club, and they will certainly want to capitalise on his good form for the Hoops. This leaves whoever is manager a very big problem indeed.

One way that they can fix this problem is by signing Bolton attacker Will Buckley. The 29-year-old is a very similar player to Burke in the way that he can either play on the wing or as a centre-forward. He has proved in the past for the likes of Brighton that playing up front is one of his strengths, so there is no reason why Celtic should not sign him.

He was constantly a threat for the Seagulls when he played for them, and that has been no different in the clubs he has played for since. Buckley has been a mainstay for cash-strapped Bolton this season, racking up 28 appearances in total. He is just the player Celtic need to fill the likely void left by Burke.

Of course he is not exactly the same as fan favourite Burke, but some of his similar attributes are striking. You just know that whenever he has the ball, the possibility of him scoring is very high.

Many Celtic fans would drool if the club pounced on attacker, as he is their ideal replacement for Burke.
