OPINION
Scott Allan has been the subject of debate among many Celtic fans on Tuesday after wowing in the reserves as they beat Dundee 6-0. The 27-year-old pulled the strings in a big win for the Hoops’ reserves as he played alongside the likes of Marvin Compper and Vakoun Issouf Bayo. However even though he impressed in that game, many Celtic fans still took the time to tear the exit-bound midfielder to shreds. Hibernian have already agreed a pre-contract deal to sign Allan in the summer, so there is a feeling that he was taking up the spot of a up and coming Celtic youngster in their reserves win on Tuesday. The ex-West Brom midfielder has not been good enough in the slightest during his spell at Parkhead, appearing just 17 times for the club since 2015. It will be a relief for him and the club once he finally joins Hibs in the summer on a permanent deal, but up until that point, he should not be playing for the reserves, it benefits no one at Celtic other than Allan.

Never impressed me anytime he got on the pitch tbh.

We've made plenty of blunders over the years, but letting Scott Allan go is not one of them. A decent player, but not good enough for us.
