Swansea City fans couldn’t help but mock Leeds United supporters on Twitter after the events on Sunday in their clash with Brentford. After all Daniel James scored a stunning solo effect in the Swans’ 3-1 win in the FA Cup and Swans fan all spared a thought for their club’s Championship rivals in that moment. The 21-year-old winger seemed to be Leeds bound until a move fell through on transfer deadline day in January, as reported by the Daily Mirror, leaving him at the Liberty Stadium for the rest of the 2018/19 campaign. As one Swansea fan said after James scored they knew Leeds fans would be hilariously tipping the attacker to be their equivalent to Lionel Messi in the Premier League, so it seems they went on the offensive. One Swansea fan got into it with a Leeds supporters as they claimed the Whites hadn’t done anything for 15 years. While Leeds fans probably didn’t appreciate the Swansea fans below, it did seem like they were having some fun.
