Many Rangers fans heaped praise on midfielder Ross McCrorie after he impressed in the Scottish Cup clash with Kilmarnock on Saturday. The Gers may have disappointingly drew 0-0 with Killie, but that doesn’t mean Rangers supporters didn’t find a reason to be positive on social media. Several raved about McCrorie’s performance with a few all choosing to label him outstanding, and others believing he was the only player deserving of praise on Saturday. One then boldly opted to compare the 20-year-old Rangers midfielder to former Ibrox favourite Barry Ferguson, which is certainly an eye-opening comparison to make. While it may be a little too soon to compare McCrorie to Ferguson, that Rangers fan was simply trying to express how impressive the 20-year-old has been as of late. It’s fair to say McCrorie warranted the level of praise below after wowing against Kilmarnock, and hopefully he can keep his form up for Steven Gerrard’s side.
