Celtic recorded a comfortable 2-0 win against Hibernian on Wednesday and despite an excellent performance by all accounts, a section of Hoops supporters still found a reason to despair. Several were disappointed that they didn’t get to witness Vakoun Issouf Bayo makes his debut. The 22-year-old forward was named on the bench for the clash with Hibs and supporters obviously got excited that he will be handed some vital minutes and that Hoops fans would get their first sighting of the new signing. Yet that wasn’t to be the case as despite looking on the brink of coming on, as one fan even pointed out he’d even took his jacket off ready, bad news beckoned. Defender Emilio Izaguirre suffered an injury that looked like a potential sore one at the very least and had to be substituted for Jonny Hayes.  It ended up being Brendan Rodgers’ third and final sub, which meant that the injury blow had cost Bayo his debut. While you think fans are equally concerned about Izaguirre potentially suffering a shattering blow as it did look like a bad one, they couldn’t help but also despair over not getting to see their new man in action.
