OPINION
West Bromwich Albion winger Jacob Murphy had an interesting night for West Bromwich Albion in their 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday. For large periods of the game he looked slightly ineffective and wasn’t really able to create anything substantial for the Baggies. But, after the break, he produced a moment of magic to put Darren Moore’s side back into the lead at Loftus Road. He capitalised on a poor QPR clearance, got away from a couple of defenders and slammed the ball past Joe Lumley in the home side’s goal. It was another important step in his road back to top form having opened his Baggies account in the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest a week ago. If he can continue in this kind of goalscoring form then he will prove to be a nice addition for West Brom down the stretch here. He’s certainly started his Baggies career pretty well and the team’s fans clearly appreciate his efforts on Tuesday.
