Darren Moore must make sure that Jonathan Bond and Rekeem Harper keep their places in the West Brom side if he wants to name his best possible starting line-up for the showdown against Middlesbrough at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

Bond has only made two appearances in all competitions since joining the Baggies in the summer, but the rarely-seen goalkeeper needs to be handed a chance in the league after two clean sheets in the FA Cup against Wigan and Brighton.

Harper also impressed in January and even though Jake Livermore is available after serving a four-game suspension, the teenage sensation does not deserve to be dropped and must start against Boro.

Bond and Harper are the only two players who should not lose their places in the starting line-up after the goalless draw at Brighton last week with deadline day signings Jacob Murphy and Stefan Johansen thrown in to earn their Albion debuts.

Bond should start behind a back-four of January addition Mason Holgate, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi and Kieran Gibbs.

Gareth Barry must return in the centre of the midfield to play alongside new signing Johansen and young Harper.

After securing the signing of Murphy on loan from Newcastle on Thursday night, it is important that he is thrown straight into the starting line-up to replace Hal Robson-Kanu.

Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle are also no-brainers to start in the Baggies attack.

This team should destroy Tony Pulis’ Middlesbrough side if Moore puts his faith in his new signings and his in-form players.

A win could see the Baggies move up to third in the table if Sheffield United fail to beat Bolton, so blasting past Boro should see Albion start off what is a very tough month of fixtures for them.
