OPINION
It was a miracle that Harry Kane was able to start Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Burnley on Saturday, let alone score and complete 90 minutes. It was a poor game by Spurs’ standards but some fans are delighted with Kane’s impact, having returned from over a month on the sidelines to score a good goal. The England international would have scored twice if it wasn’t for a brilliant Tom Heaton save from one of his strikes and his overall contribution in the game was far better than any of his team mates. Spurs were poor all over the pitch at Turf Moor and Kane deserves to be the only player from the London club who gets praise. That should not take anything away from Burnley though, who defended well and took their chances when they got up in the faces of the Spurs defence. Mauricio Pochettino will have to work hard to get his players to bounce back from that defeat, but not Kane, who was on another level compared to the other players in white.

Harry Kane's ability to maintain his balance and footwork and get shots off while defenders are hanging all over him is amazing to me.#COYS #thfc
